With the establishment of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2015, Tudor Rose and its Human Development Forum committed to create a series of volumes each dedicated to one or more of the 17 SDGs. Published digitally in May 2017, A Better World, Volume 2, covers Goal 16: Just, Peaceful and Inclusive Societies. ‘A Better World’, Vol 1

With the establishment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the United Nations in 2015, Tudor Rose and its Human Development Forum has undertaken to publish a series of volumes: “A Better World”, each dedicated to one or more of the 17 SDGs.

The first volume of A Better World, published in November 2016, is dedicated to Goal 5: Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment. The book was printed in Nov 2016, and released by UN Women (UNHQ, NY) for the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence Campaign starting 25th Nov.

‘Agree to Differ’

United Nations General Assembly proclaimed the Decade 2013-2022 as the International Decade for the Rapprochement of Cultures, with UNESCO as the lead Agency. UNESCO produced a landmark outreach publication Agree to Differ to develop the themes of the same. The book was launched in May 2015, and appears at key meetings in the following months/years of the Decade. The launch event the same was held at 3rd World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue on18-19 May 2015, at Baku, Azerbaijan.
